How to Get People to Your Site

          0 votes

What are you doing right now to get new customers to your site? If you are just waiting for things to happen, it’s time to take action.

Here are three quick things you can do:

1. Send out SEO press releases.

Add search-engine optimization keywords to your press releases. This way, it will be easier for people searching for specific terms online to find your news. For help, check out www.prweb.com, http://www.icrossing.com/tools/calculator.htm, www.keyworddiscovery.com, and www.wordtracker.com.

2. Add copy to your site.

Nice graphics on a site look good, but copy is more important to the search engines. If you don’t provide valuable information about the unique benefits you offer customers, add copy to your site.

It may make your website look long, but you’ll gain more customers through the search engines - especially if you use keywords throughout your copy.

3. Call reporters directly.

Develop a unique story idea for a specific reporter. Figure out why that person will be interested in your news. Then, call him or her directly and introduce yourself. In addition to making a new contact, you may just land a feature story!

These are just some quick tips to help you take action and get people to your site. If you need additional help, just let me know below or at www.rembrandtwrites.com. Thanks!

What smart, simple ideas. #2 is so obvious and I am not using that. (I’ll be editing my website this week to take advantage of that tip.)

I’m so stuck on #1 and #3, though. I don’t know what to tell reporters or my local newspaper besides, “Here I am,” and I’m even sure how to tell them that little bit of info. My product is a fairly new idea with a learning curve. Any suggestions on how to get myself un-stuck on contacting the media and telling them about my business?

    Thanks!

Yea agree, they are simple ideas but are great. #1 is actually the most used technique.
