Hi Guys,

I`d be grateful for some feedback on this site...

http://www.maxpeople.co.uk/

...In particular, is the look and feel right?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

Mark.

Hi Mark :-)
In Firefox 1.x, you`ve got horizontal lines running through everything, and the overall site is left justified. In IE 6.x, it`s centered and the lines disappear. So there`s likely a bit of browser compatibility trouble going on.

If I were a private investor, I wonder if I`d be persuaded to get further into the site. It seems very sparse and bare-bones, if you know what I mean? I`m not wealthy (yet), but I do enjoy listening to some of the financial management talk shows on weekends. I came from a background where there was money, so I`m interpreting your site through those two perspectives.

From what I`m seeing, there doesn`t seem to be anything about what you`re offering, why you`re credible, or why I would pursue something involving money and investment. I get the idea that this is "somehow" supposed to make investing easier or more understandable, but I see no examples of that. Nor is there a forum for sharing "something." Y`know?

The problem with financial sites is essentially credibility, in my opinion. People who have money are always being hit on for this or that, and they`re pretty tired of it all. I`m not sure who your target audience is, but I`m having a hard time visualizing someone who has money but doesn`t know where to go to find out how to invest that money.
