Hi there. PPX (Private Placement Exchange) Online.com is another web-based platform that promises to act as an intermediary between entrepreneurs and investors.
Although they seem to focus exclusively on transactions that are exempt from registration with the SEC (Securities & Exchange Commission), they are not registered as a broker or placement agent – hence they require a fee for placing a listing on their platform.
I’ve been to their site and there are various pages that are “under development”, while others appear to include broken links. If you look them up on http://www.alexa.com you will find that their traffic rank is 14,078,534, which suggest that some of the transactions they are talking about are probably an overstatement. It doesn’t looks like there’s a lot going on their site.
If you’re seriously contemplating doing business with them, I would recommend contacting them and request references before considering a paid listing.
I hope this helps.
Mark
