Hi! and Welcome!

One bit of advice I have is that you get a notebook and use it to jot down ideas, hints, tips, things that seem like a good idea, etc. that you read here, elsewhere on the web, in school, etc. Then, as you start putting the plans together for your business, you'll have all that information in one place to pull from.

Gather marketing information and examples from other people who have a business similar to the one you want to start, so that as you are putting together your marketing plans, you have some ideas for things that you want to do as well as for some that you do not want to do.

Ask any questions, and chime in on the questions asked by others. The more you participate, the more you'll get from these forums.

Best regards,

Molly Donaldson

As you are still a student, concentrate on your studies first. The world is going nowhere. It will be here tomorrow and here when you finish your studies.

Bookeeping is a difficult thing to do without experience. I suggest that as soon as you qualify, get a job and get the experience. There are very many oppportunities out here, but you need to be sure that you have the skills to be able to do your job well.

Once out of college, go to freelance sites and apply for jobs as a bookkeeper. Tax matters are especially sought after. Once you have that exposure, start your own website, hire the rest of us markers still alive at that time to market it for you and start making real money. It is a journey, my friend that calls for resilience, hardwork and patience.

I just interviewed someone who can help you out on where to start and how. I think she's pretty successful since she's been on Oprah.  If you'd like you can listen to the audio at http://www.laresearchcouncil.com/?page_id=7.  Good luck!
