Here in Batavia, it`s -100 degrees. I watched several clouds actually crack in half and fall on a highway, causing a 40-car pileup. Estimates are that road repairs in only that small section will exceed $2-million.

As I type this, I have a roaring fire just under the computer monitor to keep the electricity from freezing. You can`t see it, but the rapidly increasing lines of scorched LCD panel are making it harder and harder to type. I don`t know if we`ll survive but................................................ ............

Where is Batavia? And is it really that cold?

Oh, and today in southern CA it will be in the low 80`s time to get out and work in the yard.

Batavia is just outside of Chicago, IL. Today the lights went off and the hospitals all closed. The sky has actually fallen, crushing millions. Fortunately, I have a steel beam just behind my monitor, which prevented the roof collapsing. I`m hanging on, bringing the news to the rest of the world. Chaos reigns supreme.....

weather is getting kind of nice out ......with the birds chirping I`m feeling a little bit like spring here at the jersey shore.

Charleston SC is 68 and sunny!!  Flowers are bloomin and my eyes are itchin.  Welcome to March in Charleston.  (Now where did I put my Claritin??)  Concierge, a friend has a vac. house in "Loveladies" so we go every year in Aug for a week. Is that anywhere near you?

Well not too far, Loveladies is in Ocean County where I am about 30 min or so. Its in LBI (Long Beach Island)   I am going that way this week to my jewelry making class...

I`m not talking about Wed through Sunday though.

 Forget spring here in southern CA. We are hitting summer today. Will be in the mid 90`s. We still need rain. We will probably have a water shortage this year.
