Hi there ,

from past 4 yrs , i am looking for simple answer " hopw to make money online".as far my experience goes ,ill list some ways , though i didnt make much money yet, but i know these methods can make money and no affiliates here . coz personally i think affiliates are very hard to do and only people who make money are ones who start this thing.

1)My current fav. is sports arbitage - its proven and many people across asia and europe are using this .First of all they have simple concept , its not something very complicated.

2)ebay (only if you have few thousand dollars to start with), i can help anyone  who want to start this, as i joined auction course worth over 400$ and lots of ebooks, i think i am pretty good in it ,

3)make your own niche website , this is cool stuff , everyone got some kind of hobby and if you got some skills (i am not talking big things) , but smaller ones  like writing in blogs, then this can be profitable as i know one 12yr girl who made he website and now making 2000$ per month , which isnt bad for 12 yr.

4)online investment - ok , this thing isnt for faint hearted , if you are daring and can make bold and quick decision , then only invest in hyip , as 12dailypro and studiotraffic already down. There will be someone somewhere ready to fill vaccum. hyip is art , like legisi.com , and thats good (though ddos attack, but they are paying)

5)online classes - if you anything , anything , just start your online class and people will pay you for that.

i guess this is something to start the forum , let me know what are your experiences and we will talk here only of systems , programs , strategies  that work for all people.

great topic ankur,

one of the ideas I have been playing around with is physical security consultancy services specifically geared towards and marketed to the small business.  I have many years in security from the perspective of needs assessments, vinrability assessments, and risk assessments.  Other services could include security systems and technology assessments and project management.  In my experience, most small businesses haven`t put much thought into physical security and either have the old burglar system and even worse, some have too much protection in place.

Wow, sorry about that...rambled on a bit!  Maybe I should give a course like suggested above or start a new thread...sorry about that!

I`ve always wanted to make money online.  I really apprecaite some of your first hand experience you shared!

I look forward to seeing other first hand experiences of making moula on the web!

Thanks

I`ve got my hands full right now, starting with bootstrapping Fresh Start Baby and maintaining my workin for da man job!  I haver tried a few things online to make money, started a million websites with plans of grandure, but I had a habit for moving on to the next before finshing one.  The only place I really made any money was ebay, selling off a few things.  Bear in mind that the monies I made were only 3 digit figures per month.  I have done a few side security consulting jobs for a few small businesses in the last year or so.  I will put some serious thought into this..thanks Ankur!

lol , lol same problem as mine , i am great starter but somewhere at the end if things didnt turn out to my expectation , i loose interest , all i know arbitrage is way to go man , if you are intrested in maing money go with arbitrage , but then you wont be able to give time to anything else , but i was so sad with so many scams goin on internet , sometimes i feel there is no way to make money online as you stated whatever you made was 3 figures and thats now what website owner promise , they promise thousands but seldom people achieve that anyway best of luck with your project , i hope you will be next millionaire

... that the monies I made were only 3 digit figures per month...

Here is what I have learned about making money online. There is defintaly not a "if you build it, they will come..." anywhere. If you believe that, I can make you an awesome deal on some left handed smoke exchangers right off the factory floor!

If you  have made that much online then you doing good! If your initial investment was next to nothing then that`s cash you didn`t have before, right? What I would have done (If my personal finances allowed) would be to not touch those 3 digits and put the money right back into the business. Kinda let it snow ball is what I mean. It has a lot to do with the initial investment. You hear of these folks making millions with this new online business they started. If they actually making that kind on money you can best believe that it took that kind of money to get it started.

I worked in the online adult industry for a few years and this is what I learned there and it can apply to any industry. When dealing with online business, unless you have a niche market, its all a numbers game (I mean even if you don`t have a niche this still applies) Actually I should use the word multiplier. Think about this: You have a magic door .How it works is every day a magic gnome will knock on your door and hand you one dollar. Cool, huh? Most folks would say, "Great! I`ll just wait here for the gnome everyday and I will be rich!" Well that may be true, but the Smarter guy says, " Hey can I get 100 more of these doors..."
To put it simple its CREATE>WAIT>DUPLICATE>REPEAT. In the adult online biz we did not create just one portal to make our money. We created 50-100 at a time, just remixing the content, so even if the individual site only made 2-3 dollars a day, that number was MULTIPLIED by how many sites we CREATED. Then we WAIT to see which concepts/layouts worked best, Then we spent that time DUPLICATINGing only those successful ones. Then we REPEAT the process.

If you have something going that was bringing in 3 digits why not do it again, and again. Soon those three digits will be 4 and so on...

OADesign,

Thanks for the tips and info.  I love the perspective and totally see where your coming from.  Back then when I was doing the ebay thing I was really just doing it to prove to myself that it could be done.  I was by no means serious about the business, I didn`t even consider it a business, just a hobby.

Since that I have become much more serious, and am planning for the future and success of this venture and I`m sure the many more that will come.  After reading your post I`m inspired to dig up some of those old website ideas and explore the opportunity they may provide.

Thanks for your insight, help, and perspective.  ps I`ve rated you, thanks!

Hi oadesign,

the baby is your`s?well your idea is very very intresting , thats what i call experience.you said 100 different sites with just remixing the content , cool!! but it really matters? i mean rather than this there should be 10 different sites with different marketing strategy, like you said different doors as 2 people knock on one door and if you got 50 doors so 100 people will be knocking at your doors , but where`s your door placed? isnt this more important , wether your door is placed in "blogs" or in"banners" or in articles , so i guess ifwe refine your idea , whatever top 15 ways of marketing we can think of , then 15 different sites with remixing its content and then put all these 15 so called doors at different places to see how many people knock at particular place, and when we know that number 6 door which is placed at "blogs" getting more traffic and number 9 door isnt getting any good response, its time to change strategy for that door, what you all guys say?

Yes, that my little buddy, my mth old son Zakkai!

So to answer knockknockhlo, yes, different marketing strategies is right.but It depends on you "product" and where the demand might be. It just so happens the in my former industry, it really didn`t matter as all the "product" was the same and the demand is there. So what made the difference (again in that industry) was price. Its funny how some things sell better at 29.99 than they do at 14.99.... Perceived Value can be a weird thing at times...
