Hello SUN,
My new business, Tall Mans Clothing Distribution LLC, and especially its website www.tallmansclothing.com, is in need of critique in the ways of content and focus.
I am weeks away from enabling the shopping cart (just couldn't get all inventory together in time before the holidays) which will offer our new brand, TNB Fit, to tall and relatively slim/athletic men.
The high-level goal of TMCD is to eliminate the frustration that tall fit men have when shopping for clothes and finding only "Big & Tall" inventory, which any tall man will tell you means "simply big". In addition to linking tall men to existing online retailers offering stylish fitted fashions, we are also developing the new brand mentioned above, which will be an affordable line of tees, undershirts and button-fronts for tall men of varying height and girth.
So, as you can guess, much of the business potential comes from the new brand, especially if we achieve our ultimate goal: getting our inventory in "Big & Tall" retail stores so tall men can actually try on fitted clothing.
The main questions I have are:
- Does anyone have high-level advice on it and does it look professional? (FYI, I did not design the template and frankly I am not entirely pleased with it, the colors and text defaults to be specific, but I do like the graphic design, logo and animated advertisement, which came from a different designer)
- Does the animated ad (on the top right) add value to the site's content and the goals of the site? Or is it simply childish?
- Some of the content not on the homepage is more introductory and of a place-holder nature until our inventory is ready for showcasing, so no real need to peruse it. However, is there a page/info you feel is clearly missing?
SUN users, your time and advice is greatly appreciated!
