Hi everyone :)

It`s great to see so many entrepreneurs chasing their dreams. Good luck to you all! I am 1 of 4 sisters thrilled to be running Can-coctions, LLC. We are a family based company. As a family we float on rivers every summer. After years of our water bottles rolling around the bottom of our canoes & kayaks, we created the Can-panion Clip-on Beverage Holder which will clip onto your canoe, kayak, chair arm and more. We are located in Garnett, Kansas and our Can-panions are made U.S Proud. We started our business in March of 2007 and have promoted our product online, at outdoor gear shows and door to door (we call it river-to-river sales). I am thrilled to be a part of such a great community and hope to be learning and sharing with you all!
Onward & Upward,

Valerie

Hello all SuN nation.
Just took a few minutes to stop in and say hey.
and offer a couple more lessons learned.
listen to customers and give them what they want if you can, I agreed to make a chicken coop for a lady, then another and another, some for 4h kids, some for the philly people, of all things chicken coops but work is work, then I get approached to go national with a internet sales company, then I get invited to the tractor supply buyers meeting, what do they want you guessed it chicken coops.
grass roots and strong arming is fine for 1 piece but backpeddling to do what you should have done to start with is expensive and frustrating. no matter what take no short cuts, do it as right as you can right from the go.
and finally (this is opinion at this point hopefully to be proven right) it is ok to say no every once in awhile, sometimes too much too fast is not good, with this thought I declined the tractor supply invite, leaving the door open for either later this year or next. I am simply not big enough to sell to them.
anyway, gotta go, take care all and I am still lurking.
