Can anyone tell me, when you're still in the planning stages, but successfully getting through each hurdle along the way,,,,,,how do you even determine how many employees you think you will have when you are trying to estimate 'salaries'? and for how long do you include these figures into your start up funding requests? 6 months? a year?, etc?  or for other expenses also,,,,,,i'm just not sure what/how to include it. Any help is greatly appreciated! thanks

At the start up phase you determine how many employees you'll *need*, not how many you'll have. Then you use published salary data to know how much they'll expect to be paid.

You then multiply those salaries by how many years your business plan is projecting. So, if you're doing a 2 year plan then it's "salaries x 2".

thank you,,,, that's certainly a start. I am also soon attempting to write not only my start up funding, but introductory letters to local business AND my business plan. This is the first time for me with any of this, I am so determined, but very unsure as to do calculations for my business plan. It will be an employment agency. Very hard to figure out how many applicants you will have for so many various fields!

If there's anymore suggestions, please feel free to tell me!!!!!!!!  Thank you very much!
