SIF was a scam, they got paid and ran away. Now regarding SBCC...I'm not sure we're talking about the same company, do u have a link?

I am dealing with StanBerry Corporate Capital right now - their website is www.stanberrycapital.com - I'm not sure what the deal is anymore. It started out good - then their site was hit by malware, then they updated it but with no text, just gibberish, now it's back down (may be updating right now? wouldn't know) - I was dealing with Michael (i think owner) and after the website is down thing, it was him having food poisoning for a week and a half, then being totally slammed, missing phone appointments and not picking up the phone to not answering emails - at this point, I've had to file for a refund and put a report in with BBB just in case. I'm not sure what's going on, the broker who referred me has also not been able to get in touch nor have a couple of his co-workers. Not sure what's going on and hopefully this has been a bad month for them and they get back in line but I doubt it. I'm also not counting on getting back the $600 refundable fees I paid ($500 criminal check, $50 admin, $50 something else) but we'll see. I had heard good things about them and there were no complaints listed when I engaged them. Pretty bummed because all I wanted to do was find funding for my startup not get into this situation.

Everyone who has been dealing with Stanberry, and are having problems getting funded or getting their refunds.

I was told by Michael M that they had stopped the unsecured capitial credit funding side because a lot of their lenders withdrew.

How ever I have made a report to the FBI, and I suggest that everyone make a report to the FBI. The agent I talked to said that is seemed that Stanberry has committed fraud, and he wanted to hear from more people who have been taken.

Certainly do not give him any more money, he got me with a special deal he was "arranging" between a lender and my company, and I am now out $80,000.
