I have a sales training lens on Squidoo and use RSS feeds to keep much of the content updated. You can use feeds from blogs, forums, technorati, etc.

Squidoo works great as a mini site. What I mean by that is that its a single page that provides information and points --> to your main page.

You can provide varied types of information about different aspects of your business or company that will attract viewers.

An example is my lens here: http://www.squidoo.com/ytbtravel

My squidoo lens,.. I started it last year, but never added to it or kept it up. Recently, it was  rewritten by our Sun member, Craig.  Thanks Craig L!

Thanks Roland!  I like your squidoo lenses too.  Especially the beef jerky ones.  Thanks for those links. I don`t remember where the thread was about working with a web designer that knows how to effectively market your site, but Roland and I have worked together for three years now, and we would NOT have the online success that we do, without him.! Thanks for all you do!!!

Anyone  else have a squidoo lens?

Unfortunately for people who are not good writers (like myself), Squidoo is just a bit too hard to use.  I don`t know what to write:-)  This is what I have created so far.

http://www.squidoo.com/quality-ecards/

Any suggestion as to what else I can write?  Is there any writer who is doing social networking article writing on the side?

I helped out Janie with a rewrite of her lens, and that got me thinking. Kathy and I use Squidoo to send traffic to the IBDesignsUSA.com Web site, but I hadn`t really thought much about it.

In my opinion, Squidoo is a sophisticated form of press release. With everyone getting into sending out press releases at the drop of  hat, the whole thing has become totally overcrowded. But not everyone is using Squidoo for press releases, and that`s a benefit. It`s not yet been swamped.

So yes, I do content writing, article writing, and other forms of online writing. It comes down to what you`d want to say in a press release, then making it more compact on Squidoo.

Hi

Squidoo is a community website that allows users to create pages (called lenses) for subjects of interest. Squidoo had more than  1.5 million hand-built lenses .

Thanks.
