Are you looking for a company with sporting goods that will fill your orders?  Or. Are you looking for a company that will warehouse and ship your sporting goods?

Not exactly addressing your answer, but I have had good experiences with:

1. Monstercommerce.com

2. TAGG Logistics.

Usually with any line of products there is a large supplier somewhere in the United States that buys directly (container loads of product) from the manufacturers in foreign countries. Obviously this is something a little guy can`t do right away. These suppliers usually offer drop ship and logistics services for retailers; online and brick and mortar. If you start pounding on the doors of every online sporting goods store you can find and ask them if they drop ship you might get lucky and find a golden egg somewhere. It`s really about doing a lot of research, asking a lot of questions and sending out hundreds of emails (not spam, never spam) to your target market. This is not only going to find that big supplier but it will also tell you who your competition is and give you a good idea on how you want to set up your online store. It can be good to use the branded products that are "ebay certified" like someone mentioned before shopster, worldwidebrands, doba, etc.. A good source for finding out who`s manufacturing certain products is also alibaba.com - a great research tool. Good luck.
