O`ahu - corner of Nuuanu Ave & Vineyard, just up the road from where you use to live on Bishop!

The rainbows are still amazing!

If there are no dealers in Montana, I`m sure I can still help, just let me know...

Thanks!
Activated carbon is not the only way to remove odors and gasses from indoor air, but it is the safest and most effective other than source control and outdoor ventilation.
Which is, of course, not completely true either.  Obviously I think we can agree that source control is truly the most effective.  And I also agree that outdoor ventilation is also much better than activated carbon, which is why the Fresh Air by EcoQuest is such a great product.  It doesn`t remove odors by filtering the air, (although it does offer minor filtration), it removes odor by purifying the air the way nature does, almost as if you had full-time outdoor ventilation.  Of course, this applies even in the winter when outdoor ventilation can prove a bit chilly in some parts of the country...

It uses space technology originally developed by NASA and is proven to kill a number of bacteria and fungi on surfaces, something filters just can`t do.

In any case, I just realized this is turning into a sales pitch, which I don`t want it to be so I`ll end my involvement in this discussion with these last words:

Miabella - I just suggest you do the research and choose what you feel is right for you.

ElidS - you can only purchase the products through a dealer and there are a number of products to suit different applications, if you`re truly interested, send me a personal message and I`d be glad to answer an questions you may have including pricing...

Thanks!

Another air cleaning method to explore are air cleaners that are ducted into the central cooling/heating system of a home.

By all means, do some research, but research technologies involved as well as manufacturers.

Here a few links related to residential air cleaners, types of air cleaners, and their benefits and hazards.

miabella -

It`s true, I`ve gotten that offer more than once!!!

Hey, I see you`re in Coos Bay now, I lived there for 3 years back in Jr. High (many moons ago)!  I really liked it but I can`t even remember the last time I was there.  My family has all moved on so there`s really not much reason to get there these days.

That`s where I first went sand boarding though.  It`s funny too, because we always made our own sand boards (think snow boards only on sand dunes) out of plywood and Formica, wax `em up good and you could really fly down those dunes.  I say its funny because there`s a resourceful entrepreneur who has created a business out of it there in Florence not too far from Coos Bay...

Sand Master Park

Wish I would have thought about it when I lived there!

Please contact us.  We are independent distributors for EcoQuest International.  Our e-mail is jimnsue8@hotmail.com and we market technology that electronically removes not only smoke, but many bacteria, viruses and molds from the air.  Our technology has been clinically proven in independent studies and a press release was just released about how well our technology removes MRSA from the air and from surfaces.  E-mail us and we will arrange a risk free trial in your home for 3-10 days.

In addition to my office business, I also stage houses - which sometimes have the smoke smell. I recommend that my clients figure out where the smell is coming from - often the chemicals in smoke adhere to the walls, drapery, carpeting and more.

For shampooing and laundry items, I recommend a product called Odor X-It (I *should* be a distributor, but I`m not). :) It can be purchased online.

If the odor is in the walls, too, a sealant-type paint can be applied and the walls can then be repainted.

And if someone`s smoking in the house, well - the solution there is obvious, if not an uphill battle. :) Good luck to your friend!

We also are EcoQuest business owners.  The reason the cost is not in there is that we have 300 products and until we do a total environment survey of your `space` we don`t know which product to recommend.  Call us and we will explain...800 349 8985
