I`m looking for a manufacturer for full-color printed wooden toys. 

I want a fair trade, environmental manufacturer and it seems like sifting through Alibaba and educating a manufacturer is more than I can take on given that I am a start up. 

Does anyone know a manufacturers rep who understands fair trade and environmental considerations?

I would hope she is talking about a business who uses fair trade practices. Especially as relates to foreign companies and the wages they pay their workers. (ie... a company who doesn`t use 5 year old and pay them a nickel a week).

But then again, I am not a mind reader either.

Fair trade criteria as quoted by the Fair Trade Federation are:

• Paying fair wages in local context;
• Supporting participatory workplaces;
• Ensuring environmental sustainability;
• Supplying financial and technical support;
• Respecting cultural identity;
• Offering public accountability; and,
• Educating consumers.
