(Somewhere not too far away in a parallel universe...)

Welcome to StagNation, folks - the leading online community of people who don`t do much!

Reluctantly be a part of it! Here you`re among fellow stagnators each of whom are commited to doing stuff the old way, the safe way, or just not really doing anything at all.

You can:

  • refuse to join in
  • drag your feet

Or, if you`re really passionate about nothing, then you can:

  • procrastinate

Or, better yet:

  • bad mouth those annoying go-getters at StartupNation

Here at StagNation, you`re sure to make friends with people you can count on to never go changing on you!

StagNation - where procrastination is a destination.

Any takers? Anyone have inspiring stories of stagnation that, maybe someday, you`ll get around to sharing?

I know a few people who`s stories belong here. They seem to think that talk is action. Makes you sad to see them going nowhere. I`ve learned that you can`t motivate another person. Only they can motivate themself.

Can I be assured that my husband won`t read this?

I am often exposed to corporate motivational speakers, which I believe are some sort of fifth column for the Stagnation.
It usually includes this pitch: join our company! Be an entreprenuer for us! Come up with great ideas that make us lots of money! Be innovative!
In return, maybe you`ll get a certificate and some bagels. Make that, a bagel.

That`s so not fair, Stella. Steve does more than make cookies.

And don`t forget - Hawaiian shirt Fridays. So.... you can ...uh... wear a Hawaiian shirt. If you like.

(It`s 7:50 am and scenes from office space are already running through my head. Scary?)
