Greetings to everybody. I'm alvin from Singapore.

As my dad runs an aquarium, I have been influenced by him going into entreprising. In our country, entrepreneurs are often regard as highly respected person because to survive and become a successful entrepreneur is not an easy task. Often, people in our country goes for stable jobs with fix income but this trend has been declining and more people want to become entrepreneur as their career.

Since my childhood, I have been playing football and even thought of playing in the professional league. But because of various reasons, I have to forgo my huge dreams and pursue my studies. Even failing to live my dream, I still love football as I was when I am 10 years old. I have played for the youth team of a couple of clubs in the local league. Coaching become my interest when I knew I couldn't make it as a professional player.

Few months ago, One of my friend and I hooked up on an idea about running a business in the educational sector. To our disappointment, we failed to bring this business up during this one year period but I thought I gained some valuable experiences and knowledges about running a business.

I read alot of books, online articles, magazines and reports on entrepreneurship and football. I wished to share whatever I know to my fellow Startupnation.com mates and I'm hoping to gain new knowledges and experiences from you.
