I created a book publishing company through the inspiration of a hobby I shared with my children. When they were little, they enjoyed dressing up and acting out fairy tales. I began making costumes and allowing the children to perform the stories on home video. I eventally decided to create my own character. I called her Twirly Shirley, the girl with braids that spin every time she gets excited. I wrote three stories, beginning with Twirly Shirley In My Sister The Twister. The kids acted out the stories in photos and home video. They turned out so well that I decided to publish them so we could share them with others.
