UBA President - Erik Davenny
Bio:
Erik Davenny is the president of United Business Alliance, Inc. the world’s leading strategic alliance management firm. Davenny founded UBA in 2004 and along with Alan Birdsall the co-creator of what the world now knows as strategic alliance management. Since the founding Davenny’s passion and leadership have become hallmarks of his tenure at the company.
During the past years, Davenny has headed several UBA divisions, including product creations, UBA Complete Diagnostic, and client development. Even though he was temporarily running these divisions, Davenny’s primary role was the day-to-day responsibility of running United Business Alliance. With realizing full management responsibility for the company, Davenny delivered the company’s vision of “Changing the way the world does business, one successful company at a time.”
Davenny is known inside and outside the company for his devotion to building closer relationships with United Business Alliance customers and partners – and for ensuring their needs are heard, understood and served by every United Business Alliance employee. The foundation of these relationships – and the success of the company – is the reliable and powerful alliance partnership, which was designed to support the demands of business opportunities.
Davenny is presently leading the most comprehensive reinvention of United Business Alliance since the founders first started the creation process. Together with Birdsall and the company’s other technical leaders, Davenny will lead United Business Alliance’s development of a revolutionary UBA Alliance program for Entrepreneurs, Small Business Owners and Corporate Executives. The goal is to provide a program to enable a seamless experience between UBA representatives and affiliated alliance partners.
Although United Business Alliance will provide some important customer services, the company’s success will depend on thousands of new and current partners creating innovative customer solutions in this program. Davenny understands that United Business Alliance must be part of a community of partners, each providing a special focus and added value.
Described variously as ebullient, focused, funny, passionate, sincere, hard charging and dynamic and by his close friend as “friendly”, Davenny has infused United Business Alliance with his own brand of energetic discipline and spirit over the years. Davenny says, “I want everyone to share my passion for our products and services. I want people to understand the amazing, positive way our programs can make businesses more successful and profitable.
Davenny, born in November of 1982, grew up near Seattle, where his father worked for Ernst & Young until starting his own practice. He graduated from Western Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, considerations in Finance and a Minor in Economics. While in college, Davenny managed to start his first company, (Slappy) an apparel company which wholesaled its brand across the mid-western states, while still graduating at the top of his class in under two years. After college, he worked for two years at KeyBank Corp. as a Privilege Banker before forming United Business Alliance. Davenny reads daily and loves chess.
