I am a married 40-something (with cat) who had been working full time for the past 15 years in a photographic retail store. I am now self-employed, working to build my own business. I have an eBay Store where I sell consigned items, and some retail items at www.partyvegetable.net. I am handling the closeout items from the store I just left allowing me to focus on the Camera and Photo category on eBay. I had been reluctant to directly compete with my employer but this now allows me to continue with what I know.
I will also continue to coordinate the Photography Supply Kit program for them that I have been doing for the past eight years. I have started my own business for Art Supply Kits at www.studentsupplykits.com.
I am also a part-time/hobby photographer and love photographing live performances. I had the fortune of being a festival photographer for City Stages, Birmingham AL's annual music festival for serveral years and will post some of my images for the music fans in the community. I also do art photography in various genres, some of which I will also post.
