I am a full-time soccer coach at all levels of development in Connecticut. I'm currently an assistant coach at the University of Connecticut (UCONN) for the Women's program. I'm also a youth coach and personal trainer for kids who are pursuing to play at the collegiate and professional level. I recently designed and patented a protective device called the "Shock Sock", which is like a shin-guard for your foot. It protects the vulnerable area's of a soccer players foot and helps to prevent bruising and/or fractures of the metatarsal bones of the foot. Many professional player's (such as David Beckham) have suffered from the dreaded injury and when the injury occurs, the players are sidelined for at least 5 weeks.
