More about me:
My name is Jason Greenwell. I am currently in the US Air Force. I was born and raised in Bossier City, Louisiana. At the age of 12 I received my first computer, a Hewlett Packard. I opened that computer and was amazed at the technology it takes for that machine to operate. I decided then that electronics would be my passion. I bought books about computers, read Internet sites and taught myself as much as I could. I have taken apart, built and fixed more than 500 computers — from the old Apple II to the latest Windows Vista Platforms. In my senior year at Airline High School, I took two hours of core classes at Airline and two hours of college credit classes at Louisiana Technical College. It was there that I furthered my knowledge of computers and learned networking. I decided that I wanted to join the Air Force and pursue some type of electronics job, so I took the ASVAB and scored very high in electronics and mechanical. It was then that I landed a job as electronic warfare systems apprentice in the United States Air Force. Through extensive training from the Air Force and eight years of electronics experience I am an expert in my passion and now an electronic warfare systems craftsman. I am earning my bachelor's degree in professional aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Along with that, I am finishing up my associate's degree in avionics systems technology from the Air Force Community College. My plans are to begin my MBA from Louisiana Tech University by late 2009 and move on to a doctorate. I decided to open my own company in the Shreveport / Bossier City area called The IT Support Department LLC. Right now I run my company out of my home and virtually on the Web. The company focuses mainly on small - medium businesses and non-profit organizations. But we are working toward larger corporate opportunities. Visit us on the web at www.itsupportdept.com
