Hi,

My name is Derek Padula, and I'm the Chief Entertainment Officer of Young Forest Games, an independent developer of video games for the PC and Console market (Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo). And I'd like to speak with you today about an investment opportunity in the games industry, not only about how lucrative it is, but why my company is so unique from the rest of the competition.

I am the founder of the Young Forest Games, and I designed the company with Casual games in mind, a genre that targets gamers who are mostly women. Casual games are projected to reach $1 Billion in sales by 2007. The game industry as a whole generated over $11 Billion dollars from 2005 to 2006.

Right now our team of 9 is working on our newest game, and it's on schedule for release in mid-December. We expect it to do very well, and to help with our growth we're looking for an Angel Investor who would invest 500,000 to 750,000 dollars over the next two years. This investment would allow us to hire more artists, programmers, and designers so we can produce more games, and at an even higher quality.

What makes us unique is that we're focused on producing “Games with meaning.” By that I mean we target that hard to reach baby-boomer demographic directly with niche's in mind, such as spirituality, religion, moral values, and other special interests that have yet to be focused on by larger game developers.
