In 1997,I was in a serious auto accident. Although I now have nerve damage-RSD/CRPS, I have a new passion for life! I love working with developmentally disabled adults as they are true, honest & real. My sister Karen and I run a supervised social club called 'The Buddy System' which provides young adults with an opportunity for independence and socialization. Our goal is to teach self reliance & interpersonal skills while having lots of fun! With the desperate need for housing/funding for the disabled, our proposed apartment bldg/learning annex will provide an invaluable service for the well being of each resident and peace of mind for their parents. Our passion is to help this special population achieve THEIR goals to living a successful life.
