After spending years working way too many hours a week in advertising and marketing agencies and not enjoying it, I ventured out on my own in 1998 and started my own marketing consulting business. Partly so I could do the work I wanted to do and partly so I could be home more with my two kids.

I very quickly discovered a real need among solo-professionals (people just like me working on their own) for marketing help - problem was they couldn't afford to hire me as a consultant.

So I took my 20 years of marketing experience and used it to created my newest business venture, 10stepmarketing. I developed The 10stepmarketing System as a way to make marketing help affordable for these small business owners. I figured why should only the big guys with lots of money have access to good, solid marketing advice?

I offer lots of free marketing tips and advice in my weekly ezine and on my blog. And I offer a free 10-step Marketing E-course. I also offer a variety of information products, coaching and telecourses.

I love what I do and the most exciting part for me is when I see one of my clients get excited about marketing their business instead of being scared of it. It's very rewarding!
