Carl Schramm is the CEO of the Kauffman Foundation and the author of The Entrepreneurial Imperative, which discusses the role of entrepreneurship in today’s world. According to Schramm, in order to thrive as an economic super power in a global marketplace we have to support startups. Further, we need to encourage innovation, as it is one of the greatest outputs of the small business and is the cornerstone of advancement.

The Kauffman Foundation is an organization dedicated to advocating entrepreneurship. Carl Schramm shares the story behind the foundation’s creation and the spirit in which Kauffman’s legacy lives on. It is Kauffman who coined the phrase “don’t just take a job, make a job.” Listen in as Schramm talks about his book, capitalism and the Kauffman Foundation’s initiatives in bringing entrepreneurship to the forefront.

Hey Vasq, I actually agree in a way with Wtgg, by the look of your profile it doesn`t look like you`re taking your business or this resource too seriously.  Perhaps  you`re not marketing your business properly, you are going to have to invest time, energy  and money into your dream if that`s what it is.  Make sure you follow through on your assignments, it looks like you may not be doing that.  I`m just trying to keep it real, I`m not a meany.  Good luck to you...

I, too, stress that you need to first get out of the job mentality. Work on a life plan and from there create goals as to where you want to be and what you would like to do with your life and then work on creating a lifestyle that gets you there by creating a career that you enjoy. As for capital; have you tried a small business loan through the sba? If you have a credit number of 700 or higher you can usually get one of $25,000 or less without collateral.

vasq this may sound a bit harsh, however I feel I must "point out the obvious". why make a job, why not build a future, or lifestyle. I`d bet a bunch, not many here are looking to make a job! I`d also suggest you get with or research some marketing, your profile isn`t even completed.
