Ok I have done a compleat rebuild on my site. Right now I only have the first 3 links working because I want to make sure I am on the right track this time with the look and feel. Last time is did not look prof. enough. Yes I did use a template for this but some of us just do not have the design skills to start from scratch. Good bad I need to hear it all so I know what to change and what to keep. Also can anyone understand what the program does in the first 3 pages, if not then I realy have to work on how to get this across to people.

Frankly, your home page is a mess. Fonts are mis-sized and inconsistent. Serif and sans-serif are mixed. Bullets points are bigger than headings. There are three different font styles in the nav bar. There are spacing issues in the text. And the images/stock photos don`t say anything about your business.

Speaking on behalf of a user, I wouldn`t stay on this site longer than 2 seconds.

I think you`re in over your head, especially if this is a rebuild?! :) I would suggest hiring professionals to do this for you--both a web designer and a copywriter. Focus on your business and product and delegate to those who can help you.

Good luck!

Well guess all I can say to that is thanks for being upfront and brunt about it.

Ok made those changes, thats what I get for doing this with no sleep. Only two fonts on the page now and all the links are one size and one font. Thank you for pointing that out. I am going to have a person go over this and reword it the right way but I have to have some information in there for them to go off of so I can just hope that it explains the program some what.

As far as the stock photos go I am racking my brain trying to figure out what type of photos I could use for this. Hard to come up with somthing on a new concepts.

Only two things I can think of for the phots is One. top left maybe an arrow going in a circle to show repeating? Two the bottom right a person sitting at a computer or perhaps a computer disk? Would love any input I could get on this.

Imoral, everything that Darren says is true. However, I don`t think that you need to necessarily hire a website designer. The right website template can remedy most of your design issues. But you should definitely consult with a marketing expert to walk you through the rebuild process, because you`re making a ton of fundamental mistakes - especially in your copy.

Not to jump on your back or kick you while your down, BUT, how it works, and increase sales are the same. both need some proof reading the grammar is as if english was a second language for the author.
I am not tecky so all I can help with there is it loaded fine and quick in IE. I actually like the colors (easy for me to see) not loud.
one last thought / question Why would I subscribe monthly to you? it appears your product comes on a disk, if you send them to me then you`re loosing money, if I am burning my own then why do I need more than one month of service?
Would it not make more sense to offer the software from a download page or something? get it on peoples computers then charge me to insert my special code into the base program? or something like that. imagine I am a purchasing person and I buy stuff from 10 people a week, each of them send me a disk to install, aside from the waste of plastic why would I install the software?
also from my (seller) point of view lets say I have a "repeet" customer, now I need special packaging or send them yet another disk? I don`t know for sure but I think you need to invest some more time in the concept and make me want to use it, as well as my customers.
one more last thought; have you tried selling the concept and code to ebay or some of the others? how about go daddy or the thousands of web hosts?

No problem Stan about the roughness I need it. The program is downloadable or can be sent out on disk either way, it is a monthly price for the program and it does take a code to activate it and is check per month on the date you singed up so if there is not a payment then the program shuts down. The concept of the program was actualy made because of Ebay and the growing numbers of people selling there. Then I expanded the code so that anyone selling on Ebay, Amazon, Yahoo stores or there own ecommerce web site can use the program.

Wish I had the excuse that english was my second language but I don`t :( I just do more writeing in code then anything else and have hard time getting across what the benefits of the program are. I.E. if you sell on ebay then your customers have a one click way of finding your products instead of looking through thousands of other peoples products that your comeating with. If you have an ecommerce site then you can mail out flyers or disk so that new customers can find you, you can leave disks or flyers at restruants and so forth. Yes you can leave a card with your address on it but this simply puts an icon on the desk top and then  your products are one click away from buyers.

Your main image is a lady with shopping bags. You`re not really selling shopping, in my opinion, you`re selling a shopping tool in the form of a PC program. I think the main page is a teaser; you`re making general sales type statements without telling right away what exactly you`re offering. It`s like a "Get rich quick with our super simple plan" type of site; you start off with general statements without ever actually giving anything realistically useful about you actually are offering.

If I was a seller on Ebay reading this, I would prefer to read right off something like ....

" The innovative Repeet PC program is a computer based tool helps you retain your customers, advertise to new buyers and increase your Ebay sales! "

News & Events start to give me an indication that this is computer based, but your main message shouldn`t be in a sidebar, where extra-type information usually is; that isn`t where my focus is when I first view the site.

Create a simple, easy to understand sentence or tagline that tells me right away what you offer me, not just general infor that could apply to a lot of other sites.

Thank you M Hall I will work on that tonight. Some great advise there Thank you again.

Ok, changed the top left picture to one of a woman sitting at a computer and holding a credit card. Trying to kinda tie the program into shopping. Als M Hall I hope you don`t mind but I used the line that you said on the front page with just a couple of changes to it but your wording fit so perfect. Wish I would have paid more attention in english class instead of reading programming books LOL.

Please keep the feed back comeing. I do know that the other two pages that are up have to be compleatly re-written because my grammer for a lack of better words just sucks but I am working on that.

Mm...I`ve read the above, seen the site, and thought I`d comment on the overall problem of trying to build a Web site on your own. It`s really a question of delegating to your weaknesses, and it pretty much seems that marketing is one of your weaknesses.

I`m reminded of the student driver attempting to get a license. Each time they take the driving test, they have a major error. When told they failed, and the reason, they go and work on just fixing that error. The next time they take the test, they fail on some other major error. Frustrated, they say they`ve been working and working, fixing each and every problem, so how come they`re continually failing?

The instructor tells them that they`re a bad driver.

You could fix each and every specific problem people are bringing up, but the bottom line is that it seems you`re weak in the core principle of Web marketing (the development is only a tool related to the purpose). So rather than waste your time continually trying to fix a leaking boat, you`d more likely do a lot better in what you`re strong at---I don`t know you well enough to know---and outsourcing the marketing to someone with those particular strengths.

Yes, entrepreneurs have to wear many hats, but if doing one type of job is actually hurting the overall progress of the company, then it`s time for a frank re-evaluation. Not everyone can do everything.
