Hey all - when sending out a business document is sending one more proper than the other?

I know pdf will be better for a lot of reasons but what if the person doesn`t have reader already installed?

All thoughts welcome.

I think you will find that MOST computers can handle a pdf now.

However ... not all will have Microsoft Word installed, and they may have a version different than yours. Also, I don`t open Word docs from strangers on my PC because I don`t want you infecting me.

Use a PDF.

We would also recommend using a PDF. If somebody doesn`t have it installed, they can go to www.adobereader.com and download if for free.

Word is a pretty universal application, but it is not guaranteed that everyone will have it. Play it safe and stick with a PDF.

As I posted in the other thread, if you don`t want them to bypass what you`re sending, put the info into the body of the e-mail.
