StartupNation Radio Hosts to Provide Startup Tips during QVC Television Debut

Jeff and Rich Sloan, nationally-recognized entrepreneurial advisors, will appear on QVC during “Decade of Discoveries Tour,” at Chicago and San Francisco events  

Birmingham , MI – August 2, 2005 – Entrepreneurial advisors Jeff and Rich Sloan will appear on QVC during this summer’s nationwide Decade of Discoveries Tour, on August 26 th from Chicago ’s Navy Pier, and on September 9 th from San Francisco ’s famous Fisherman’s Wharf. The Sloan brothers will provide business tips and onsite seminars to encourage everyone to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.

Earlier this year, more than 3,000 products weresubmitted to QVC by entrepreneurs with the hope of being included in the Decade of Discoveries Tour. Starting in July and running through early September, the 2005 QVC Decade of Discoveries Tour will unveil 100 of these new products at ten of America ’s most popular summer vacation destinations.

“As two of the country’s top entrepreneurial advisors and successful inventors themselves, Jeff and Rich Sloan were chosen to participate in the Decade of Discoveries Tour for their in-the-trenches insight and expertise,” states Marilyn Montross, QVC Director of Vendor Relations. “They will be on-site at the Chicago and San Francisco tour stops providing advice on how to get a business started and discuss how to live an entrepreneurial lifestyle, a message very fitting to QVC’s approach.”
