Create a thorough and compelling profile
While viewing your listings, people will naturally click through to your profile to find out more about you as a Marketplace provider. Making sure that your profile is complete will add that extra level of trust when people decide whether or not to do business with you.
Add a few, well thought out keywords to each listing in the Marketplace
Relevancy of results in searching the Marketplace is partially determined by the keywords that you add to the listing. Think of a few keywords that are especially relevant to your listing.
For example: If you are a web designer, you may want to list “web design” and “web development” as your keywords.
Engage other members in the StartupNation Community Forums
If you frequently provide advice to other members in the StartupNation Forums, you will begin to establish yourself as an expert within StartupNation which will also foster trust in you as a Marketplace provider. (The Forums are found in the Community section of the website.)
Optimize your listing titles
Creating a very concise, to-the-point, listing title will make your listing stand out in the search results and category browsing.
Example: If you are a web designer, creating a listing titled “Web design” will be much more effective than, “Work with companies to improve their website’s design”
