Hello, my site: www.joelannen.com. I created it as sort of an online business card, so I can refer new connections and possible partners what I'm about and what I'm working on. I also use it as reference from my resume because I'm trying to find work while I pursue my business ideas on the side. Pretty much I have a part time job and looking to gain business experience and build some funding.

Thanks for the critique!!! It's hard to get objective feedback from friends and fam :)

More specifically I'd like to know:
- As someone who doesn't know me, what is your initial impression of me?

- Do you think the site is useful to potential employers/partners? What do you think I could add to make it more useful or attractive (content or design)?

- What could be improved on the design to make it more visually appealing?

Checked out the resume / site and like it.  I like simple and straight forward sites.

My initial impression of you is someone that likes the environment and working on positive impact projects.

I think the site is useful but could have a bit more depth.  Maybe some pictures of you. An easier way to contact you besides a form.  More portfolio examples.  

I think the design is fine and I like the sleekness of it all.  I just think you could more content and elaborate more on what you have done in the past.

I will comment on your website appereance, your website was less professional looking. Try premium template or ask a designer to design professional looking website template.
