Face Book..., I `m really not into it...., as far as something that I want to spend time on marketing my biz this way.  I`m not sure the time and posting I would need to do, is beneficial as far as my time and other things I have to do.  But.  I did use the feature to search for an old friend.  I couldn`t find her, but I found her Daughter by her name.  We used to live together as single Mom`s with Daughters of the same age, when they were three years old.  We lost touch 15 years ago, so I am now amazed at the power of what joining Face book can do!

Facebook has been a very successful marketing tool for me.  Initially, I simply had a personal profile page that was used to market my business through feeds from my blog, posted items, joining related groups and design-related updates.  I then established a Jeff Fisher LogoMotives fan page - which has sent several potential clients my way in a short period of time.

Hi Jeff,

I`m still lost.  I went to your personal page and saw nothing except an image.  Is it private?  Then I went to your business page.   How do you keep personal stuff off your business page?  Have you used facebook advertising?

By the way, Haro was looking for a facebook expert.  That might be you.

Not sure how it`s helped me business wise...but I have loved getting in touch with former (don`t use the "old" word...lol) friends from high school and college.  Really have enjoyed catching up with everyone.  I`m not the best at real letters.

Actually my facebook is getting to the point where I want to just delete 80% of the contacts I have. They aren`t beneficial to me in any way and I add them just to add them. Having phone numbers for personal contacts is the way to go. You stay much closer to people that way.

OLD.  That`s the only word I was talking about.  Yikes.  I have former friends, not OLD friends.  Glad that`s cleared up.  Whew.

Hey Cindy, glad to hear you did meet up with old friends.  I also found someone that I had wondered about for a long time.  Other than that, I just can`t keep up with face book.  I`m sure like Jeff, if you have a service to offer, it might be a great way for people to find you for your service. I have no idea if twitter is helpful for business either, but I have found it a way to just post something briefly that might interest someone else. And I`ve found another Sun members tweets to be very informative, that I am following.  That`s what`s interesting about twitter, you can follow and read posts of those that really interest you.
