I don't think nofollow links are useless. It really depends on your motives. Do they pass link juice? No, but they have other benefits.

Only Google treat this no follow attributes, other search engines still count it as backlinks. Google does not say that nofollow links are useless as these links still fetch a lot of traffic to your website. Nofollow will not give that much weight for your site on google ranking calculations.

Ya i agree with your post nofollow links useless because Google not consider noffollow attribute but yahoo , bing consider nofollow links you can check after building link.....

Dofollow links are better.. but, a link is a link.. even nofollow pointing to your site is better than no link.

Yep, Google will not follow a nofollow link, they do not pass anchor text or PR. Google drops nofollows links from their link graph, which means they are worthless.

There are obviously advantage of getting no follow links because these link makes your site look natural.No follow links are also a bit beneficial for traffic.

The only different from dofollow is that nofollow doesn't pass the pr juice and not being indexed.

I think that no-follow links are still beneficial. Personally, if a no-follow link brings us 50 visitors a day, then I would much rather have that than a do-follow link that only brings 5.

Nofollow linking is helpful to drive traffic.
