Need some assitance.

I want to promote a site for my cousin, he's a doctor. need some tips. I surfed the net and find many sites that has high PR Rank and would like to have the same PR, like this site for instance about Anti-Aging Programs (not mine)

what should i do?

if you have never done it, then I would hire it out to a company that promotes docs.  i.e. easiest way to do it, is find docs that he is competing with, see who created their site (it most likely will be at the bottom of the page) and talk to them.

There are certain business that specialize just in creating and promoting sites for doctors.

Or you can go and do it yourself, which will be a full time job.

Start by educating yourself at sites like www.seomoz.com and www.searchenginejournal.com. Once you have some basic SEO knowledge, map out a plan and implement it.

Don't think about PR. just start to optimize your web pages as google wants.Try to get some good backlinks from reputed websites making your most important keyword as anchor tag.

to promote your cousin site you need to help a SEo professonal. first submit your site in search engnes and after that start onpage optimization then offpage optimization. 

It may seem easy to throw some money at an "SEO firm", but it's really difficult to find anyone that will give the kind of care to your Internet marketing as you would yourself.

Assuming you have designed your web pages with SEO in mind (proper title tags, h1/h2 tags, reasonable keyword density), then the major challenge will be getting quality inbound links.

But that doesn't have to be so much of a challenge. While many SEO firms may charge hundreds of dollars per month, I have achieved PR5 and 1st page Google ranking by purchasing 5-10 inbound links from other quality websites.

In other words, I highly suggest educating yourself first, and doing the SEO work yourself.

You need to start getting some solid link building in order to start raising your PR. Start doing some article submissions to sites such as ezine.com, start a blog on your website and start submitting to social bookmark sites such as Digg.com, and do some directories such as Business.com, and Yahoo.com and keep reading forums =)
