Entrepreneurs are often created in the most unlikely places. Kim Lavine, a stay-at-home mom and creator of a simple therapeutic product called the Wuvit, transformed her kitchen into the birthplace of a successful business.

The Wuvit is a grain-filled pillow that can be heated or cooled to gently relieve body aches and pains. After cooking it up her kitchen table, Kim first sold her invention at craft shows and found enough demand to go pro and start her own company, Green Daisy.
