Episode Spotlight
The contest is underway and the first ten elevator pitchers have
faced the Sloan brothers – and the StartupNation community. Each week
the contestants deliver their idea on the radio show and you, the radio
audience, can listen to the pitches and vote for your favorite. The
three finalists who receive the most votes from the community will
deliver refined pitches for our illustrious panel of StartupNation
judges. The grand finale airs on StartupNation Radio on December 2nd
and 3rd, 2006. At the end of that show, one member of the StartupNation
community wins The Ultimate Hookup: The chance to fly in for coaching
from StartupNation and the opportunity to meet with actual angel
investors.
The winner of week one’s competition is Lynne
Sandler of A Sound Match, a dating service that matches people based on
their taste in music. Lynne will go on to compete in the final round
against two other pitchers, and one of them will receive The Ultimate
Hookup!
