Tremendous value...huge opportunity!
This annual event was designed to help business of various sizes promote their business to a large number of people at a very low cost (as low as $95 for the 1 day event which includes breakfast and lunch for 2, 8-foot display, and name listed on the expo web site). The venue for the event is Freedom Hill County Park in Sterling Heights, Michigan (with estimated drive-by traffic of 60,000 cars a day!) Admission is FREE to the public with many activities available such as a rock-climbing wall, moonwalks, arts and crafts, demonstrations, free popcorn, free cotton candy, and free sno-cones etc. There will be a variety of displays by businesses and community organizations (i.e. Fire Department, County Sherrif, churches, schools, etc.). This is one community event that you will not want to miss.
The Tri-County Community Expo was started by an entrepreneur who was starting his own full-time business but was having difficulties in promoting it to the community without having to spend a ton of money. Most "expos" he wanted to participate in carried an out-of-reach price tag, anywhere from $500 to several thousands of dollars. As a result, he decided to set up his own expo at a local banquet hall. The first expo signed up 40 businesses and brought in a couple hundred people. The second expo was at a local park and signed up 122 businesses and brought in a couple thousand people. This will be the Third Annual Tri-County Community Expo with a goal of signing up 200 businesses and reach several thousands of people.
