Real estate investors like to trade information. We learn about what works in different markets and what trends are taking place. Real estate is a collection of very local markets As I write in one blog article there is no US real estate market so the 'national average' means little to a savvy investor. Hearing direct from those investing in specific markets keeps you on top of your game. What is working and what techniques make sense given specific market conditions.
When change happens you need to start using new solutions. Many times what will work is what the a different investor has been using in their specific market. Keeping an open mind and being willing to share is key.
