I spent fifteen years working as a part time employee training instructor for various companies. I not only taught, but developed some of the course material used in classes. I also attended numerous instructor certification courses during this time.
I am now striking out on my own. I've already started by developing a three day certification program for a community college. This program was in the field of warehousing operations. I also put on new hire orientation, security, OSHA compliance and emergency response training for employers.
I have a diverse background in these last three fields having served as a police officer, firefighter and ambulance attendant. I also headed a regional emergency response network and was a security operations manager for a large hotel. While in this position, I served on the safety commity and did emergency response training.
I also wish to collaborate with like minded individuals in the field of employee training and development. We could develop material as a joint project, or team teach.
