My name is Sam Coon. I a young entrepreneur. My mother passed away about four years ago because of cancer that was located in her nasal passage. Ever since then, I have been trying to find ways to help and donate money to foundations such as, The American Cancer Society. Until now, I could not realize my dream of being able to do that. I believe that what I am about to present to you may change the retail world as we know it. Millions of dollars are spent every year by Americans to purchase goods such as electronics. All of this money is either profit or capital expended back into the business operations. With Oncopeg, we will donate three percent of all Sales Proceeds to foundations such as the American Cancer Society. The underlying business of Oncopeg is to sell consumer electronics however, we may expand into countless other consumer items. I have started a website (www.oncopeg.com) that is growing extremely fast. Oncopeg can also be a huge marketing and advertising vehicle. I have already contacted the American Cancer Society, and Apple Computers to let them know of my intentions. I believe that they will fully back my plan one-hundred percent. I contacted Apple because they have a long history of supporting efforts such as mine. The U2 iPod was created by Apple so that small sales proceeds would go to the aids foundation. I would be more interested in Apple as a supplier of products rather than having them develop a product dedicated to the cancer fight. I know that as a consumer, I am willing to spend more knowing some is going to a good cause. I am also more conscious of the companies goals which would therefore make me a more loyal customer. I am very dedicated to the fight against cancer as well as developing an online community. I actually got the name Oncopeg from two sources. The first part being Onco-, which relates to the word Oncology (the study of cancer). The second part being Peg, which was my mother’s name. I put very hard thought and deliberation into the name of this company and believe it is well suited for the American consumer. I am extremely exited looking at the business prospects and how unlimited the possibilities!
