You might try Startup Nation. There`s a lot of information about Web-based businesses, otherwise known as e-commerce. They also have a forum you can search for topics about how to choose a Web business, how to get started, and what resources exist. 

Great! It is a good idea to start a web based business these days. Its better late than never!
