I`m looking for company that sells business cards but w/ very thick stock paper. The ones that I`m looking for is pretty thick and when you feel it, it feels kinda grainy or rough like tree bark or papyrus. I wouldn`t say it is totally rough but it ain`t completely smooth like most other business cards are.

Does anyone know of a site that prints out these type of business cards? I already have the file and design of my cards to upload but I just need a site that allows for this and meets my criteria.

I`ve searched high and low through many of the popular websites like Vistaprint and such but I`ve yet to find one that offers such a thick stock paper. I`m currently using http://www.printsmadeeasy.com/

Can anyone help?

Hi,

Most of those internet mass printing sites will not print on a specialty stock like you mention because it is a special paper order from a paper mill. They have large quantities of standard stock because it is the most profitable to keep that on the floor They may also gang print a bunch of different cards at one time so that keeps paper stock choices limited.

You might want to check a local offset printer in your area that can run small print jobs. My business card is printed on a thick 100 lb. uncoated stock.
I used a local printer who could order the stock from a local paper merchant.
Most standard card stocks are 70 lb. to 80lb. This refers to the weight for a ream of paper. Obviously the lesser the weight the thinner the paper.

It seems like the cards I have seen from friends who have used internet printers are usually 70 lb. or 80 lb. on coated (glossy) paper.

Hopefully, you can find a printer in your area that can print on the stock you are looking for.
