But the owner, Leslie Truex's goal isn't simply to provide work-at-home wannabees with the information and tools they need, but to also encourage them to design careers that not only fit their lifestyles, but nurture their spirits as well. "Movie stars and professional athletes shouldn't be the only ones to get paid to do what they love."

Most importantly, Leslie strives to live as an example. She has designed her life so that she gets paid for doing the things that she loves and continues to add projects as new interests reveal themselves. Not only does she run a home based business, and freelance as a social worker and writer, she is writing a second work-at-home book (the first was The Work-At-Home Success Bible), launching a public speaking career, writing a mystery, and training for the Disney Princess Half-Marathon. All of which she fits in with being a mom of two, wife of a really great guy, and managing a house (sort of).

"Moms in particular get stuck in a place in which they are defined by jobs they don't like or by their role of parent, cop, cook, nurse, counselor, dishwasher, and finder of lost things. My goal is to help moms redefine themselves not just on being a mom, but on their interests, hobbies and passions as well."
