I remember at 16, making appointments with several real estate agents who were brokering deals for large apartment complexes and office buildings around town. I had read an article about Carlton Sheets' "No Money Down" program and I was certain I could become a real estate mogul by the age of 18! Well, that dream didn't come to fruition, but the one of having an amazing husband and kids that I adore DID...and I couldn't be more grateful. Having kids sure changed the pace a bit, but it didn't damper my desire to build a business of my own and to have my kids see me enjoying life for myself and not only through the satisfaction of being their mom. I instinctively realized that pursuing my dreams was something that would make me a better and happier mom. Working at home on something that I’m passionate about and having my kids within hugging reach feels like the best of both worlds to me.
Biz Mommy is a place for women who are seeking change. I offer support, useful resources and mentorship to moms who are ready to rediscover their passions outside of their roles as mother, wife, friend and caregiver.
I want Biz Mommy to be a place where women gather to network, inspire and support each other as they learn about what excites and empowers them. I hope to serve as a motivating catalyst for women to make the move from negativity, self-doubt, fear and procrastination to fearlessly creating and running a successful home-based business that they love.
