What is ParentClick.com & SBParent.com?
ParentClick.com is an online guide that centralizes resources for parents nationwide. It is free, it is fun and it keeps parenting simple! It is for moms, dads, teachers and grandparents because we know it takes a village to raise a child. We believe that parents deserve to know everything that is available so that they can choose the best options for their family. Each of our 24 territories lists local resources from pregnancy through the teen years and reaches parents of all socio-economic levels. Our goal is to support parents, schools, businesses and nonprofits in our communities. Every family has different needs and every business offers something unique.

On a local level we provide… a business directory, a family event calendar, a weekly newsletter, parent perks, kids classifieds, parent chat, a parent planner, contests, and tips. We educate families on how to give back to the community with nonprofit spotlights and postings of local needs.

Nationally, we provide… product reviews, children’s book & movie reviews, family travel reviews, a recipe club, parenting blogs, parenting articles and a monthly newsletter.

The Inspiration
SBParent.com (the original site) was founded after having spent many hours on the phone with new parents of twins trying to connect them with local resources. I realized during this time that there was not an easy central location to find all the information new parents need. My goal was to make life easier for parents.

Expansion with ParentClick.com gave me an opportunity to support other women nationally in being business owners and making a positive impact on their communities. ParentClick, Inc. has focused on how best to integrate our technology nationwide and is unique in it's approach… we provide the technology and each of our territory sites is individually owned so that they can integrate into their communities as an online directory, parent network and media resource.

About the Founder - Rachael Ross Steidl
What started out as a simple idea to centralize resources in a town that I love has grown into a business that combines both my work experience, education and hands on experience as a mom. I continue to learn from the families and businesses I work with every day. I am fascinated by technology and the way social networking continues to evolve.

It has been an amazing journey the past eight years to develop a business and balance it with motherhood. I am inspired by what women are able to do together when they support each other and give back to their communities. I believe that each of us can make a difference big or small and it is important to me to demonstrate that to my children.

It is a team effort when a mom decides to start her own business. I am fortunate to have a husband and children who support me in doing something that I love.

Prior to becoming a mother, my work experience included many years in marketing and management as well as working with children in both school, group home and counseling settings. I have an M.A. in Psychology from Pepperdine University. I am a Santa Barbara native and the mother of 3 girls (11 year old twins and a 8 year old). I am actively involved in our community serving on several local boards and various committees.
