Tasty Clouds Cotton Candy Company ranked #3 in the 2009 StartupNation Leading Moms in Business Competition, and later the same year won Highest Vote Getter in StartupNation Home Based Businesses Competition.

Tasty Clouds Cotton Candy Company was inspired by one of those crazy "pregnancy cravings" ... I just had to have freshly made cotton candy. When I couldn't find anywhere in my area, I realized I might be on to something. I decided that night that I would give myself three weeks to get a cotton candy business going. After squeezing all the information I could out of the sales manager, I ordered the cart and supplies. My husband came up with the business name, designed my website, business cards, and promotional flyers, and I started marketing my business both online and off. Exactly three weeks later, I had my first two events booked.

The response Tasty Clouds has received has been nothing short of amazing. People love the fact that we don't just rent a machine but provide full service cotton candy catering: we bring the machine, an antique-style cart, and an attendant to make and serve the cotton candy. Another unique aspect of our service is the variety of Kosher certified flavors, both traditional and organic.

In addition to catering, Tasty Clouds has expanded it's lineup and now offers Tasty Tubs, resealable, eco-friendly containers of cotton candy as well as snow cones and caramel apples.

We have been a part of all types of events ranging from children's birthday parties at customer's homes, to weddings, to charity events, to huge star-studded galas (yes, serving cotton candy to celebrities is always fun!), and everything in between.
