As she started wearing the barrettes, people asked where they could buy them. There was such a positive response that I decided to form a company and formally sell them. From that Little Miss Julia was born.
Little Miss Julia offers a full range of stylized hair accessories which includes barrettes, alligator clips, headbands and ponytail holders. Each piece is handmade to order and each one receives the utmost attention to ensure the highest level of quality. My designs consist of crystal flowers, multi colored flowers, smiling daisy flowers, ladybugs, peace signs, strawberries and apples. Little Miss Julia hair accessories are unique in style. It is not just another bow; it is an embellished, stylized hair accessory that will add style and glamour to any girl's hair.
Little Miss Julia has expanded our line to dogs. We recently launched our new website for the pampered pooch, www.littlemissjuliasdog.com. Our full collection can be found online as well as at select retail boutiques.
As a working mother of two I don’t have a lot of free time and need to balance work and kids. I have involved my children in what I do, asked their opinions on color choices, let them “help” develop designs and bring them on sales calls. By involving them they have an interest in my business which makes trying to balance it all a little easier.
Over the course of the last year Little Miss Julia's distribution has expanded and we currently sell boutiques across the country as well as online. I have created a business and products that I am proud of and happy to say I make and sell. My goal is that my customers feel they have an accessory that completes their girl’s total look and puts a smile of their face.
