Photography has been a part of my life ever since I was a teenager, many many years ago. I would use the same film camera which my mom used to photograph me as a baby, then process my own black and white film in a friend's home lab.

Fast forward to today: after a high tech career and 9 years of climbing the corporate ladder in the software development industry I have decided to fully follow my calling and am now the owner of a thriving boutique photography studio.
I specialize in lifestyle portraits of babies, children and families, and it is my biggest joy to create highly personal art pieces and family keepsakes to be enjoyed today and passed down through generations.

Oana Hogrefe Photography is active in giving back to the community, particularly to local causes benefitting children and moms. We hold several charity events each year, the most recent of which is a yearly calendar. In 2011 the proceeds go entirely to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta(http://www.childhoodcalendar.com).

Nothing compares to doing the work you are called to do, every day, to your heart's fullest! I am grateful that my passion has found such a welcoming appreciation with the families I photograph year after year, and am looking forward to growing the impact meaningful, loving imagery can have on relationships and people's self perception.
