This is based on the number of votes received and does not reflect the quality of the business or chances of winning. Our mission is to do whatever it takes to educate and inspire our community to achieve wellness, health and happiness through providing the highest quality, fresh-pressed, organic juices and other nutrient rich foods. I founded JOOS from my kitchen table shortly after I moved back to Boston. People thought I was crazy when I asked where there was an organic juice bar and I saw that there was a real opportunity. Simultaneously, I was going through an incredibly difficult divorce. I embarked on cleansing as a way to purge all the emotional baggage from my marriage. I also received many certifications in the health field, including as a board certified health coach. I started giving samples of my juices to friends and the business literally started to take off to the point that we're the largest, local fresh-pressed juice manufacturer in New England. We also offer cleanses and the healthiest mini-muffins made from the pulp of our juice. Kids love them! Our goal is to saturate the New England market and become a household name. When we've cemented our strategy, we plan to move to other markets. Our primary demographic is mothers because they are the role model for the family. When kids see how healthy their mothers eat, they want to do the same. As a single mother of 4 beautiful children, I know how important it is to be present for my children. Drinking nutrient rich JOOS makes us feel healthy, energetic and balanced, which makes us better mothers!
