I have seen lots of couture hair accessories that sell for upwards of $30-$50. That's just not feasible for most, especially in today's economy. I found it so hard to find the materials to make these headbands and when I did, the prices were too high or I had to buy a dozen of each piece. I wanted to give Moms like me, as well as boutique small business owners, a place to shop where they could pay wholesale prices without having to buy dozens of pieces at a time. iBetterAccessorize.com was born! We have a low minimum of $5 for regular orders and the majority of the items are sold by the piece. We provide tutorials, written by our customers, on how to make different accessories. In 7 short months, we have grown tremendously! Sales have grown almost 700% in the 1st qtr of 2013, over 2012, we've built up a fan base of over 4,000 on Facebook and have many loyal customers already! We offer 10% rewards on purchases and have given out hundreds in rewards already since Jan. In April, we had a successful fundraiser and donated $440 to Wigs For Kids. We would love to eventually have a retail space where Moms can bring their girls in for a day of designing and creating.
