Contestant's Case to Win

This is based on the number of votes received.
My name is PJ Jonas and I'm a homeschooling mom of 8 children (yes, 8) aged 4 - 15.

When we made the decision to homeschool and I looked around at the young people today, I was saddened by the poor work ethic that many of them displayed. It seemed that many of them wanted to avoid work but still felt they deserved the latest technological gadget or the newest name brand outfit.

So I set out to teach my children a different way.

At Goat Milk Stuff, we make goat milk soap with the milk from our own dairy goats, and we support our large family doing it. All of the children play an age appropriate role - from milking the goats, to bagging the soap, to packaging the orders, to answering the phones. They all help my husband and I to run the business.

While my children are learning the benefits of working hard, our customers are receiving a product that often helps their dry and sensitive skin or skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis.

Our company has grown tremendously in the past four years, having made over 200,000 bars of soap and having been featured on the TODAY show and in Oprah's magazine.

Being recognized as a Leading Mom in Business would be an affirmation that working with your children to grow a great company and teaching them the skills to someday create valuable American businesses of their own, is still valued today.
